On January 1, 2015 came into force on the technical regulations of the Customs Union "On the safety of wheeled vehicles"
Technical Regulations of the Customs Union (CU) "On the safety of wheeled vehicles" adopted by the Commission Decision CU December 9, 2011 № 877.
Technical Regulations set the rules of market access or commissioning wheeled vehicles; essential safety requirements; conformity assessment procedures are put into circulation types of vehicles (chassis), individual vehicles, vehicles in service component types of vehicles; requirements for labeling single mark of products on the market of the Member States of CU and the Common Economic Space (CES).
Taking into account the current practice, including European, the decision of transition periods for the entry into force. Prior to July 1, 2016 provided the opportunity to manufacture and putting into circulation of products in accordance with the mandatory requirements previously established by the regulatory legal acts of the vehicle, or the law of the Member State Customs Union and the Common Economic Space, if the documents on evaluation (confirmation) of conformity of products specified mandatory requirements issued or adopted before January 1, 2015. Handling of such products is allowed during shelf life (life) products, established in accordance with the legislation of the Member State CU and the CES.
Documents on evaluation (confirmation) of compliance with mandatory requirements established by normative legal acts of the vehicle, or the law of the CU and the CES, which have been issued or taken in respect of products to which the technical regulations technical regulations before the coming into force shall be valid until the expiry of their actions but no later than July 1, 2016.
