GOFA (Germany)

For more than 5 decades we have been serving our customers globally with products that are leading in terms of technology and quality "engineered & made in Germany".
We combine the strengths of a small German enterprise with the worldwide corporate network of the Chart Industries Group, which is the world market leader in cryogenic investment goods.

In 1962 GOFA was founded as manufacturer of pressure tank vehicles by Heinrich Janssen. From the very beginning GOFA has produced vehicles for liquids and bulk goods as tank bodies, semi trailers or trailers with vessels made of carbon and stainless steel as well as aluminium.

In a very short time GOFA became a major European manufacturer. In the seventies the product range was been expanded to include CO2 and LPG semi trailers.

Since the early eighties the whole production portfolio has been available in versions like containers or swap bodies, too. In 1985 the first unit for the transport of cryogenic gases was delivered. Soon GOFA also become one of the largest manufacturers in this sector. In the nineties GOFA expanded its product range with cryogenic designs for flammable gases like LNG or Ethylene. Since the year 2000 GOFA has been producing outer and/or inner vessels from aluminium also in the cryogenic gas sector. Here our experience over decades with ADR aluminium pressure tanks in other product sectors serves as an important technologic basis.

Today GOFA is an internationally established and market-leading manufacturer of pressure tank vehicles. GOFA offers a full range of semi trailers, trailers, containers, swap bodies as well as fixed bodies in the product areas gas (cryogenic air gases, flammable cryogenic gases, CO2, LPG and other gases), liquids (chemicals, food) and bulk. Designs for all European countries and standards as well as for many other countries and regions are available.

The high grade and the durability of the products with a simultaneous excellent payload are highly regarded in the market. Our high flexibility during the realization of all customer-specific projects and requests in connection with our rapid reaction time is unique.

Every day GOFA is going to become more international. The customer base spreads far beyond the European borders by now. Our customer group ranges from global players as well as large and small medium-sized enterprises to the freight forwarder driving by himself.

Balke-durr (Germany)

Balcke-Dürr manufactures power plant components for the water-steam cycle and the flue gas path. With its experience of more than 130 years, the company offers ground-breaking solutions and services, ranging from the standard module to complete thermal systems.

We are solidly integrated in a strong corporate group:
SPX Corporation. This multinational, multiline group with headquarters in the USA offers technical solutions for the energy market, the food and beverage industry, and industrial process technology.

The performance of a turbine condenser is a significant factor in the overall operational efficiency of a power plant. Improper and outdated tube bundle layouts limit condenser and turbine back pressure and thus the electrical output of the plant.
A feedwater heater is a shell-and-tube heat exchanger that warms up feedwater or condensate by means of steam or condensate. It is used in almost all power plants with steam turbines.
In any steam power plant, boiler tube corrosion problems can occur if the feedwater exceeds a certain level of dissolved gases. It is therefore essential to remove these gases from the feedwater heating circuit. For this purpose deaerators are used.
In nuclear power plants, moisture separator reheaters (MSR) are key components in the steam cycle of pressurized and boiling water reactors. MSR increase the overall efficiency and protect LP turbines from damage.

Balcke-Dürr boilermaking goes back to 1883 when the Dürr boilerworks were founded. This long track record is the basis of our extensive boiler service stretching from straightforward component replacement through all-in upgrading.

SKI (Germany)

It is expressed by our company theme: the trademark of S.K.I. is competence. The complex competence of our staff, the competence which is expressed in our products, the competence of our advice as well as the competence treating and solving difficult applications.

"Kompetente Messtechnik" - our German motto means: competence in measuring.

A high claim - we are conscious of it. But referring to this we are well self-confident. In 10 years of S.K.I. our customers have learned to perceive and to distinguish our company - not by dubious certificates or misinterpretated reports but by performance. And by the granted quality of our products.

SDF flow sensors are highly accurate instruments which are used for measuring flow rates of gases, steam and liquids. SDF sensors are approved in inumerbale applications. They are suitable for highly sophisticated requirements.

The gas measuring sections are based on the principle of differential pressure and are thus absolutely insensitive to vibration in the pipework. Thanks to their design and construction they also meet requirements for low pressure loss, high mechanical stability, high availability and very low maintenance.
The evaluation unit measures and records the flow rate considering density variations caused by changes in pressure and/or temperature. These devices incorporate various display options, an analog output interface and three relay outputs. A second analog output is available as an option.

The calculators of the µFLOW series provide the capability to process all raw data delivered from a flow measurement for the purpose to compensate the influence of fluctuating values of pressure and temperature on the result of the measurement. µFLOW calculators are available for gaseous media, water and saturated or superheated steam. Beyond this special versions and simple flow indicators are available.

The SDF Thermosafe is the suitable solution for flow measurement under field conditions where freezing of the instrument and the pressure lines have to be ensured. Using the THERMOSAFE it is not necessary to isolate or heat up the pressure lines. THERMOSAFE is the best practice for steam and humid gas open air measurement on link bridges, roofs and external walls.

SDF flow sensors are highly resistible against negative effects caused by heavy dust loads in flue gases. However it is possible that particle deposits at the sensor occur at high dust concentrations or low flow velocities. The air purign device LSE-HD scavenges these deposits even at extrem dust loads within the medium in a reliable way.

Who measures flow often has to or would like to measure temperatures, pressures or levels gauges as well. S.K.I. also offers the suitable products for this.
