The number of acts governs imported products' certification in the Republic of Uzbekistan: "Regarding Standardization", "Regarding Metrology", "Regrading Products' and Services' Certification", "Regarding Technical Regulations" and other acts on Standardization, Metrology and Certification.
Uzbek Agency on Standardization, Metrology and Certification is responsible authority for Standardization, Metrology and Certification in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Agency establishes rules for certification procedures, makes publications and defines products liable to mandatory certification.
Accredited entities perform all actions regarding certification of homogeneous products.
The aim of certification is to verify products' conformity to all requirements set by statutory acts that contain a list of parameters to be checked as well as control techniques.
Certificate of Conformity is valid for the products' service life or 3 years - for mass production. On the strength of Certificate of Conformity issued, an agreement is made with a holder concerning regulations on the use of Certificate and conformity mark. This agreement states methods of certified products' labeling and conditions of supervisory control. Manufacturer of products in mass production is responsible for labeling of wrapping, containers and forwarding documents.
